During the session, we'll talk about:                          

• What is foster care 
• Why children and young people come into care
• The different types of foster care available
• Who can become a foster carer
• The application and assessment process
• How children and carers are thoughtfully matched
• The training, guidance and ongoing support available through Uniting
• What it's really like to be part of a fostering community                                                                        

The online session will run for about 45 minutes, with plenty of time afterwards to ask questions.
